Today the Mayor of Municipality Shtip, Blagoj Bochvarski together with the directors of the public enterprises had a meeting with the Director of the Sanctions Directorate Jovica Stojanovich and the permanent twinning advisor Aksel Brimle.

At the meeting they discussed about the strengthening of the penitentiary-correctional system and the probation service. 

„Today in the Municipality of Shtip I had a meeting with Mr.Brimle from Germany, who is the head of the project for coordination of few institutions which need to be on the joint table and work together to improve the conditions and use of new methods regarding the convicts in Republic of Macedonia. Here , together with us is the director of the Sanction Directorte, the director of the penitentiary-correctional facility in Shtip, a judge from the Primary Court and the directors of the public enterprises.

I think that there are no legal regulations in the Republic of Macedonia, but coordination between institutions is often lacking in order to realize what is prescribed by the laws”, said Mayor Bochvarski.
