Dear athletes, sport workers, representatives of sports associations and teams,
Dear supporters and sport supporters,
Dear fellow citizens,

We are gathered today here to jointly make review of the successes in the sport which the residents of Shtip made in the past 2018.

At the beginning we can say that the successes in Shtip are really big in the past year.

A lot of projects were implemented, new heights were accomplished and all the successful stories caused pride and togetherness of our community.

Our athletes succeeded not just to win on serious competitions but to unite us and inspire us with their fighting, defiance, enthusiasm, energy, work, friendship and strength.

In this whole story, I am especially glad that I can say that the Municipality of Shtip has a role. In the past year, Municipality of Shtip has allocated 14 million MKD from its budget in a direction of supporting athletes, as well as development of school sports.

Municipality of Shtip will continue with motivating serious goals and successes of our athletes and in 2019, where for a start we are allocating 16 million MKD from the Municipal budget.

Dear athletes,

Municipality of Shtip will encourage you wherever you go, because you are our most significant ambassadors. Thank you for representing Shtip and Macedonia as well in its best view.

This year the award “Athlete of the Year in the Municipality of Shtip” goes to the two-times Europe champion from Macedonia in karate- our fellow citizen Emil Pavlov, who is proclaimed as the best athlete for 2018 in Macedonia.

We are all proud of your successes. Thank you for representing our city in the best and true light, representing the tenacity, energy, but also decisiveness to fulfill the highest principles and criteria. With such highly motivated persons like you our city grows and develops, but also shows that is a true European city with a bright European future.

Dear fellow citizens,

Shtip will continue to celebrate and appreciate successful stories for their citizens. At the end , let me express my hopes and sincere wishes this year that we have to have many reasons for celebrating our common victories, many occasions for awards and celebrations for our athletes.
