Today the Mayor of Municipality Shtip, Blagoj Bochvarski together with the Head of local economic development, education and public affairs, Biljana Kazandziska attended at the opening of the sports event on the occasion of International day of persons with intellectual disability in the sports hall “Jordan Mijalkov”. The Mayor Bochvarski opened this event with his greeting.

„Here there are no winners and losers, here the winner is the tolerance, companionship and sincere friendship among us. As a mayor of Municipality Shtip I welcome these events but with one message and appeal to all stakeholders in the society, that help and care should be provided throughout all year long, constantly and not just the day that is special for them.

All together we should strive for this category of citizens to be active in the society and always to give a hand when it is needed. I wish you a successful sports day and I declare the games for open,” said Bochvarski.

These events are organized traditionally every year, on the occasion of the 3^rd of December International day of Persons with intellectual disability. This year’s sports event was attended by children from Sveti Nikole, Vinica and Delchevo.
