Today the Mayor of Municipality Shtip, Blagoj Bochvarski marked the beginning of this year's edition of "Makfest" with a traditional placement of flags on the plateau in front of the hotel "Oaza".
The long-standing tradition in Shtip requires all interested in the Macedonian quality Music, all respecters of music and the beautiful modern melodies to be gathered in one place, here in our city, and at the stage in the Cultural Center "Aco Shopov" to present their latest musical creations.

„To my great pleasure and the pleasure of residents of Municipality Shtip for the thirty-third time this year is organizing the festival of entertaining music Makfest, the best festival in the Republic of Macedonia.

I can surely say that Makfest is an avant-garde of the Macedonian music scene, a festival that means a lot, which gave us many hits thirty years ago , songs that people still hear.
I believe that this year the Makfest Festival will give many hits, it will have a great quality of music and I believe that there will be many hits that will be remembered in the next period and in the years to follow",
This year „Makfest" returns to its usual term, in October, which returns the well-known autumn musical show in Shtip.
Thursday and Friday starting at 20.30 in the Culture Center "Aco Shopov" with two semi final evenings, and on Saturday in the same period is the final evening, after which there will be a show of the program with the singer Dario.
