At the beginning allow me to congratulate the holiday “St.Nikola” to all the citizens of Municipality Shtip.

This year the winners of annual recognitions are deserving citizens and organizations who contribute to the building and strengthening of social tissue.

Municipality of Shtip knows how to recognize and value the persons and subjects who give their own example of how to appreciate and nurture the true social values. It is therefore a special honor for me to be able to award these recognitions to these meritorious persons for the second time.

This year we show the virtue of thanking them and acknowledging their achievements and real merits.

These year’s winners of the awards on the occasion of St.Nikola are:

-      Shterjo Nakov, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Romania in Republic of Macedonia with a seat in Shtip, business supporter and affirmator of Shtip

-      Branko Azeski, Honorary Consul of Montenegro in Republic of Macedonia with a seat in Shtip, president of the Economic Chamber of the Republic of Macedonia

-      Pekom Inzinering, Ltd Shtip, as a socially responsible company

These are citizens and company that contribute to the affirmation of Shtip and the Republic of Macedonia.

This year St. Nikola order went to our prominent fellow citizen, patriot and hero who during many turbulent events with his own personal example showed how to love Republic of Macedonia.

In 2001, when our country was bleeding, General Stojanche Angelov with courage and sacrifice went to the battlefield in defense of his homeland.

The general in these past years has fiercely fought for freedom even when many people have silenced the injustice.

The greatness of this man is that he is ready to give his hand as a sign of reconciliation.

It is precisely that his determination to support and personal contribution to the success of the concept of a society for all which makes General Stojanche Angelov to be the bearer of the St.Nikola Order which was awarded tonight by me on behalf of the citizens of Municipality Shtip.
