Tonight the Mayor of Municipality Shtip, Blagoj Bochvarski, together with the Ambassador of EU in Macedonia, Samue Zbogar,officially opened this year’s “Pastrmalijada” with a ceremonial cutting of the giant pastrmalija on the main stage.

Mayor Bochvarski and the ambassador Zbogar addressed the audience in Shtip and wished them a pleasant mood in the days ahead, and in which the traditional specialty of Shtip will be celebrated. During the ceremonial opening, Mayor Bochvarski and the ambassador Zbogar accompanied by the Vice Prime Minister Radmila Shekerinska, music performers Kristina Arnaudova and Vlatko Stefanovski as well as the culinary experts who prepared the giant pastrmalija.

The solemn opening was preceded by the performance of the singer Kristina Arnaudova and during her performance Mayor Bochvarski, the ambassador Zbogar and the president of the Council of Municipality of Shtip, Jane Milanov reviewed the stands and talked with the visitors.

After the opening ceremony the performance of Vlatko Stefanovski began and during the evening, the singer Dani Dimitrovska and the singer Dani Dimitrievska and the rock group Van Gogh will perform.

This year’s “Pastrmalijada” will last until Sunday, and in front of the audience in Shtip will perform: Zoran Iliev, Joce Panov and Severina on Saturday but also Libero Bend, Mirza Selimovikj and Amadeus bend on Sunday.
