Today, organized by the Municipality of Shtip and the Municipal organization of the Association of Fighters of NOAVM 1941-1945, was marked the International Peace day in K’rteke, in the area of the Suitlak. 

The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Municipality Shtip, Blagoj Bochvarski, members and continuers of the work of the Union of fighters, members of the Army, representatives of political parties, NGOs, civic association, students, students from Shtip and the area and many more.

With the Resolution of the General Assembly of the United Nations since 2001, September 21 was proclaimed as an International Peace day and the Resolution obliges all countries and UN member states to regularly mark September 21^st every year.

The theme for 2018 is: “The Right to peace-Universal declaration for human rights of 70” marking the 70^th anniversary of the Universal declaration of human rights.

The universal declaration for human rights is an important document in the history of human rights. The declaration was made by representatives from different legal and cultural backgrounds from all regions of the world. It was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in Paris on the 10^th of December 1948 as a common standard of achievement for all people and all nations.
