At the joint meeting held on 27.06.2018 with a beginning at 1 PM in the Municipality of Shtip participated representatives from the Roma Action Group from the Municipality of Shtip, representatives from the working group of Municipality Shtip and persons responsible for implementation of ROMAKTED program from the Council of Europe. 

One of the joint conclusions from the meeting was raising the awareness of the Roma community for environmental protection and organizing ecological actions in the Roma settlements as well as placing containers in the community in cooperation with the municipal working group and Roma action group of Municipality Shtip. For the problems with the hygiene and wild landfills in the Roma settlements and the lack of containers in the Roma settlements, was emphasized that the initiative of the Municipality of Shtip together with PE “Isar” and PE “Stipion 2011” to start placing containers in the Roma settlements and in this way to gradually improve the image in the Roma settlements and to improve hygiene in the Roma community in the Municipality of Shtip.

On 07.07.2018 with a beginning at 7AM in the morning was implemented the first ecological action for cleaning the wild landfills together with the Roma action group of Municipality Shtip for improving the hygiene in the area where the old nerve department was located where 35 Roma families and were placed more containers on more places in the Roma settlements on the street “Kosovska” and the place called Sveta Nedela.
