The Mayor of Municipality Shtip, Blagoj Bochvarski addresses greetings on the occasion of the 24^th of May-the Day of the Slavic educators “St.Cyril and Methodius”, which says: 

„It’s my great honor and pleasure to congratulate the upcoming holiday Cyril and Methodius”-The day of the Slavic educators of Cyril and Methodius.

The struggle of the holy apostles brothers Cyril and Methodius had not only have an enlightenment cause, but also represented a political-cultural struggle and strong defense against assimilation.

That is why Cyril and Methodius are considered as spiritual and educational builders who set the foundations of tradition which today’s educators (teachers) bring to life and continue daily through the generations who come.

May this day be eternal to celebrate – 24^th of May –Day of the Slavic educators, brothers Cyril and Methodius,” says the greeting from Mayor Bochvarski.
